AntiSec Hackings Continue Despite 15 Alleged Members Being Arrested

The cat and mouse game continues with the Swiss and Italian police having arrested 15 members of hacker group, Anonymous. However, Anonymous seems to be going from strength to strength, as they continue with their hacking spree under the AntiSec flag, undeterred. Anonymous issued a press release earlier on comparing themselves to Hydra and right enough their adage holds true.

Anonymous Italy still hacking despite several arrests

The police officials of Italy and Switzerland claim to have made 32 raids and arrested 15 members who they believe are the leaders of Anonymous thereby disbanding them. However, the hacker group refutes this claim and have stated in their release, “Anonymous is not been dismantled. Anonymous has no leaders, no structure. All anonymous members operate at the same level. Those arrested are not ‘dangerous hackers’ as the media calls them, but people like you. They have been arrested while peacefully protesting for their and your rights. Our protest will continue louder than ever.

According to a report, Anonymous have attacked the popular instant messaging service, Nimbuzz with the account of an administrator of the service being compromised. Other recent targets of the group include defacements of Turkish government sites, as well as more attacks on the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
